Today i've been asked to write a blog for my course in C.I.T. and to continue it through the year. So for my first blog im going to tell abit about myself. I am 21 years of age and I am after starting my first year in computers in C.I.T. so far so good. I have already done a year long F.E.T.A.C. course in Recruitment and Human Resource Studies it wasnt really my thing. I then took a year out to go working and then the recession hit the country hard making me unemployed shortly before christmas havnt been doing much since then till now (mainly playing internet poker). It feels good to be back in college as i feel i have abit direction to my life again which was lost to months on the dole. However i feel my years absenteeism from the education system has given me time to reflect and now knowing what awaits me without a college degree has given me the motavation to want well in this course. Which was something i lacked in my previous school endevours.
Anyway moving on my main hobbies are listening to music, playing poker, playing the playstation and going out getting shitfaced with my friends. My highlight of the summer was the Oxygen 09 it was my first year going and i had the time of my life. The Kings of Leon were the best act i seen, however the best song i seen live was Pendulums Tarantula the crowd went absolutely crazy even making a mini mosh pit where i was. It was nuts. 2many DJ's put on a great show as well as Deadmau5 and The Killers. However it was the X-Box live stage in the blue campsite at night that proved to be the most entertaining. Unfortuately i was staying in the red campsite but another group of my friends were camped up right behind the X-Box live stage which was handy. Although one thing i didnt like about Oxygen is that i noticed that the chippers and shops kept putting up their prices at night taking advantage of the fact everyone was so drunk. Anyway i'm going to go now because im running out of things to say and class is nearly over.
